We are pleased to announce that we have now moved into our new training premises based at Block A, Unit 5, JKS Workshops, North Elgin PLace, John Knox Street, G81 1LU. Moving the training courses to these premises, means that we can provide enough space for the social distancing and follow the current coronavirus government guidelines.
Due to the latest Tier 4 announcement for Scotland, our Velotech training courses are now on pause until the 18th of January. We aim to get them up and running again as soon as restrictions ease. Our customers' safety is our priority.
In the meantime,if you would like to book onto a Velotech course, or would like further information about the training, please contact us by email on info@cycleform.co.uk or on 07900241753.
The Velotech Awards are accredited awards aligned with the National Qualification Framework.
The Velotech courses range from training and assessment in basic bicycle maintenance-the Red, White, Blue and Bronze Awards; to the Silver and Gold courses, which provide training and assessment in bicycle mechanics to Industry standard level. The Silver course is a pre-requisite for going onto the Gold course. The Velotech courses are run by Donald Cameron, Velotech trainer for Glasgow and West Scotland.
During the course the candidates are shown how to perform each task, then led through the procedure, and finally have to carry out the task unaided to demonstrate that they understand the procedure and can carry it out in a safe and competent manner.
